Pat Matheny often uses Nylon String Guitars on his recordings and in concert. The Nylon String Guitars Played by Pat Matheny are very expensive hand made Guitars. Most all the Hand Crafted Guitars can be purchased with an under saddle bridge pickup that is of very high quality.
Any Devices installed inside a Fine Classical Guitar will affect the Acoustic Sound Quality. Classical Guitars that come with Preamps installed sound great when played through an amp. However, the installed Electronics Gear does cut down on the Purely Acoustic Sound of the Guitar. If one wants their Find Hand Made Guitar to sound at it's best when played as a purely acoustic Guitar then I would advise anyone to just have the under the saddle pickup installed with a power jack PreAmp that has no tone or volume controls for this will optimize this will not hurt the acoustic sound of the Guitar, or at least the effect on the purely acoustic sound will be very minimal and be not noticeable.

The Takamine DSP-Digital PreAmp has very good amplified sound in my opinion. However the DSP-Digital PreAmp means quite a bit of hardware installed inside the Guitar, so with the DSP-Digital PreAmp installed the purely acoustic sound of the Guitar is not close to being as good as a really Fine Purely Acoustic Nylon String Guitar. So one must trade off the Acoustic Sound of the Electric Takamine for the very superior sound of the Guitar when it is played through and amplifier so it can be heard by a large audience.
The Takamine Electric Classical Guitar with a DSP-Digital PreAmp is a superior recording Guitar for there is almost no noise from the PreAmp itself and the sound quality is outstanding. I own a Takamine Electric Classical with the DSP-Digital PreAmp and for live music jobs the Guitar sounds great when amplified by most any amplifier.

Ovation builds and sells the Chambered Solid Body "Viper" Model Electric Nylon String Guitar that has the Bridge Supported by solid wood so there is no feedback in the Guitar. This is the best Guitar for playing with Loud Bands where feedback will be a problem if you use a regular nylon string Guitar with a pickup. This Guitar by Ovation is very hard to find. The Steel String Viper is more readily available than the Nylon String Version of the Viper.

VEILLETTE Chambered Solid Body Electric Classical Guitar
Standard Tuned Nylon-string The Mk-IV Standard-tuned Nylon-string guitar gives classical and flamenco players a way to play at high volumes with zero feedback, while retaining the natural acoustic sound and responsiveness that they desire. The 22 position neck, full 2 1/16" nut width, and traditional scale length make for a comfortable, familiar feel with expanded upper range, while the individual saddles and 6-way piezo pickup provide even string balance and huge dynamic range.
VEILLETTE MK-IV BARITONE & STANDARD-TUNED NYLON STRING GUITARS
The Chambered Solid Body Nylon String Guitars built by VEILLETTE are around $2000.00 in price. I might add that I believe the VEILLETTE Chambered Solid Body Nylon String Guitars are well worth the price.

Baritone 6-string The longtime flagships of the MK-IV series have been our Baritone guitars. The expanded lower range and rich, deep sound of these guitars has made them a favorite of musicians who seek new, unique, and powerful sounds. The long 27.7" scale and custom LaBella strings give the Mk-IV Baritone 6-string tremendous possibilities for new sounds, techniques, and approaches.

Google Streaming Video Free to Everyone
Video Streaming is beginning to take off big time on the internet. Google is offering free Video Streaming to anyone and that includes more than music.
Will some worth while Music Videos come from local and unsigned musicians in the future? Good question and one that I cannot answer. Local Bands can get fairly decent recordings made of their music, or do it themselves. Making Music Videos that are worth watching is much more difficult than recording the sound, just the music with no pictures.
The sound and video quality is often not good on the home Music Videos. However there is something refreshing and enjoyable about watching the home music videos that are on Google. The Streaming home music videos on Google have a kind of lure that brings you back again and again.
On Google Video you can search for about any type of music you can imagine.
Its kind of fun to watch the homemade Videos at:
