How many Hours Have I listened to Barney Kessel Play The Guitar?

Thousands of Hours Has The Guitar Man Spent Listening to the Recordings of This Great Jazz Guitarists.

I first heard Barney Kessel do the Backup Guitar Work For The Julie London Recording "Cry Me A River."

I was so taken with the Dissident Guitar that was so Unique that I immediately Became a Barney Kessel Fan.

I purchased and listened to Many Great LP Recordings by Barney Kessel.

The Barney Kessel LP I love the Most  is "To Swing Or Not To Swing."

To me that was the Best LP That Barney Kessel Ever Recorded.

The Song I like Best on "To Swing Or Not To Swing" is "Begin The Blues."

Barney Kessel is so good on the Guitar That Words Cannot Describe the Great Talent of This Man.

Everything Barney Kessel Recorded Was Great.

You will have to listen to some of the Music of This Great Guitarists.

Barney Kessel Played on Some Ricki Nelson Rock and Roll Records. He is recognized as one of the Guitar Greats. Barney Kessel played on  Many Recordings as far back as the Early 50s. He was Heavily influenced by Charlie Christian who is considered the First Modern Jazz Guitarists.

Check out my Billy Byrd Page with the Gibson Byrdland Guitar

I read that Barney Kessel Hitch Hiked to Los Angeles with his Guitar then took a job as a Dish Washer Until he Could start booking Guitar Playing Jobs. The Great Guitar Jobs Barney Kessel did get. He played with some of the Greatest Players that his time had to offer and he took Guitar, as a solo instrument, ahead so much that it quickly became one of the most respected instruments in Music.

Chet Atkins and Barney Kessel Became Great Studio Musicians at about the Same time, in the early 50s. Chet was naturally in Nashville and Barney Kessel in Los Angeles. Chet is known to have played Be Bop Jazz when he went to a Jam Session. Though I never read anything that Chet wrote about Barney Kessel, since Chet Loved Modern Jazz Guitar, I would Bet Money that Barney Kessel Recordings are in Chet Atkins Collection of Great Jazz Guitar Recordings. Was there a Good Guitar Player in the 50s who did not admire Barney Kessel and his Great Guitar Work? I doubt it. The Man is Genius and every Guitar Player Could hear the Great Artistic Genius of Barney Kessel when they Played the Many Recordings which were released by Barney Kessel in the 50s.

Barney Kessel Won Many Jazz Guitar Awards. However, his Great Award was his millions of fans who near worshipped the Guitar Playing of this Giant of Music. Another of Barney Kessel Greatest Award was the Respect that his fellow musicians had from this Great Guitarists.

He recorded Many Good Jazz Guitar Albums

Very Sophisticated Be Bop Jazz

And he was influential in making the Guitar one of the most respected Jazz Instruments there is. There was a Barney Kessel Gibson Guitar Back in the 60s.

Barney Kessel Played Guitar on the Recording "Cry Me A River," by Julie London. This recording, and all the recordings of Julie London, are masterpieces of Singing and Jazz Guitar. The Recording of "Cry Me A River" by Julie London introduced me to Modern Jazz Guitar. I bought Barney Kessel Records after hearing him accompany Julie London on "Cry Me A River." I bought more Julie London Records also.

In my opinion, Julie London's "Cry Me A River" is the most Artistic Jazz Vocal Recording ever made. All her Records featured Jazz Guitar, and they were great. Julie London's Recordings made a huge impact on me and my musical career. For giving us such wonderful guitar on her recordings,
